Judicial Endorsement Meeting – January 14, 2020

Pursuant to Article XXVIII of the Bylaws of the Roanoke Bar Association, you are hereby notified that on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, beginning at 1:15 p.m. at the Shenandoah Club, a special meeting of the active membership of the Association will be held for the purpose of endorsing a candidate for the upcoming vacancy in the Circuit Court of the Twenty-third District.  Only those Candidates who are included in the public written report provided by the joint Judicial Committee of the RBA and the SRCBA are eligible for endorsement by the RBA as part of the endorsement process.

Only active members of the Association in good standing as of Monday, January 13, shall be permitted to participate in the balloting, and any member of the Association who has participated or intends to participate in a meeting of another bar association for the same vacancy shall not be permitted to participate in the balloting.

Please note that seventy-five (75) active members of the Association shall constitute a quorum, which is required by the bylaws before the meeting can proceed.
