William Gray (see biography below)\nThis CLE session will highlight a range of issues that lawyers and others need to consider when advising (i) not-for-profit clients\, (ii) their officers\, directors and donors\, and (iii) other clients who may have business dealings with not-for-profits.  This information will also be helpful to audience members who serve on not-for-profit boards as they try to fulfill their fiduciary duties.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLE Credit:\n\nApproved for 1.0 hours of CLE (0.0 ethics)\nCourse ID: RODD001\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCost:\n\nThe 1-hour CLE session is being offered through a special arrangement with the Roanoke Valley Estate Planning Council (RVEPC) at no cost to RBA members\, representing 1 hour of the 4 hours of free CLE included in RBA membership. RBA members are invited to stay for the social hour\, dinner and program. If you are also a member of the RVEPC\, the cost is $30.00; if not\, the guest fee is $35.00. Payment is expected at the door; the RVEPC is not able to invoice RBA members.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration:\n\nRegistration will be handled by the RVEPC. Please specify which events you will attend (CLE\, social hour\, dinner/program).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation:\n\nTo cancel\, send an email to Nick Lampros no later than 12:00 noon on Monday\, November 2\, 2015 Cancellations after this date/time will be billed a $30.00 cancellation fee for any social hour/dinner reservations.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBiography:\n\nBill Gray is a partner in the Richmond office of Hunton & Williams LLP\, where his law practice focuses on tax-exempt organizations\, charitable giving\, and estate planning and administration.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Rutgers College and a law degree from the University of Virginia.  Bill is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel\, a founding director and former president of the Virginia Gift Planning Council\, and member of the national board of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning.\n\n\n\n
