DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nDate/Time:\n\n\nApril 13\, 2021\nMeeting will be held through GoToMeeting\nBeginning at 12:00 noon. Meeting information will be emailed no later than April 12th.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgram:\n\n\n\nThe speaker will be Margaret Ogden\, Esq.\, Wellness Coordinator\, Virginia State Bar. Ms. Ogden will present a 1 hour CLE on “Occupational Well-Being: Understanding the Risks and Building Our Resilience” in conjunction with VJLAP.  1 hour CLE approval pending. \nWe’ve known about the higher rates of burnout\, anxiety\, depression\, and substance abuse in our profession for a long time\, but have only recently begun to take collective steps to improve our wellness. In this seminar\, lawyers will examine physical\, mental/emotional\, adaptation\, and self-actualization risks that go hand-in-hand with the practice of law\, as well as tips to address these risks on both an individual and organizational level. Margaret H. Ogden\, the Wellness Coordinator for the Supreme Court of Virginia\, will tell you about small\, habitual changes we as lawyers can make to lower stress\, bolster work-life balance\, enhance our professional satisfaction\, and elevate our performance.\n\n\nMemorial\n\n\nAll memorials will be held once in-person meetings resume.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Board Meeting:\n\n\n11:00 a.m. Board Meeting\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeeting Reservations: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Cost:\n\n\nTHERE WILL BE NO FEE FOR THIS SEMINAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeeting Information\n\n\nDeadline to register is Sunday\, April 11\, 2021.
