This includes attorneys who are new to the area or new to federal practice. The program will include an introduction to the courthouse\, the judges\, clerks\, courtroom deputies\, and courtroom security. This event is co-sponsored by the Roanoke Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. You do not need to be a member of either to attend\, but we ask that you please register your attendance.\n\n\n Location:\n\n\n4:00 – 5:00 p.m. – United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia\, Roanoke Courthouse which is located in the Poff Building at 210 Franklin Rd SW\, Roanoke\, VA 24011.\n5:00 – 6:15 p.m. – reception in the courthouse lobby\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDeadline:\n\n\nThe deadline to register is Thursday\, April 17\, 2025\, at noon.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Cost:\n\n\nThere is no charge for this event.
