DESCRIPTION: RBA Centennial Event\nRBA Family Fun Day Picnic\nwill be held on Saturday\, May 31\, 2025\, from 11:00 am-3:00 pm at the Girl Scout Icimani Adventure Center located at 5488 Yellow Mountain Rd\, Roanoke\, VA 24014 \nThis event is for all RBA members and their families. The day will include live music\, a catered lunch of  hamburgers\, hot dogs\, and barbecue\, a bounce house\, a dunk booth\, card games\, an afternoon Kickball Tournament\, and a free shirt or hat for all of those attending and more.\nOur younger guests will be treated to a variety of activities including hiking\, creek wading\, a scavenger hunt\, rock wall crawl\, and other surprises under the direction of trained adult camp staff. \nFor those choosing to play in the kickball tournament\, you can register with or without a whole team. We will organize teams out of any unaffiliated registrants. If your team is organized in advance\, please name your team organizer on the registration form. The kickball rules: 9 players per team and at least 4 must be under 18 years of age or female. \nThere is no charge for RBA members and their family to attend. DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by the Roanoke Law Foundation\nSanta at the Station has been rescheduled for Thursday\, December 18th. \nThe Roanoke Law Foundation will sponsor the annual Santa at the Station from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm\, this is a holiday party for children and their parents who are living in shelters in our area during the holiday season.  For this special event\, the children and their parents will be picked up and transported to the Virginia Museum of Transportation where they will experience an amazing holiday party.  The kids will enjoyed use of the museum as well as entertainment. They will be treated to their favorite party foods and have their photos taken with Santa Claus. They will visit Santa’s Workshop where they will create holiday arts and crafts\, and Santa’s Sack where they can select a small\, special gift to wrap and give to their parents this holiday season.
