Ms. Monday will be informing our members about the impending transformation of Virginia’s appellate courts effective January 1\, 2022.  The Court of Appeals of Virginia will add six new judges and\, for the first time\, its jurisdiction will be expanded to provide an appeal of right in both criminal and civil cases.  She will provide us with an overview of the newly revised appellate rules for the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals\, and will address how these appellate changes will necessarily impact all trial practice in Virginia.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Board Meeting:\n\n\n10:45 a.m. Executive Committee 11:00 a.m. Board Meeting\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMemorial Resolution:\n\n\nThere will be a memorial resolution to honor Walter H. Peake\, III\, Esq. presented by Phillip V.
