Katie Slusher\, who is a native of Roanoke\, VA\, pursued a master’s degree in architecture at the University of Texas\, Austin. Before returning to Roanoke\, Ms. Slusher was the current head of Making Our Own Space\, or MOOS\, in Cleveland.  That program helped low-income minority children understand how architecture and urban design affects their lives.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Board Meeting:\n\n\n10:45 a.m. Executive Committee\, 11:00 a.m. Board Meeting\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMemorial Resolution:\n\n\nThere will be a memorial resolution honoring the late G. Marshall Mundy\, Esq. presented by the Honorable Frank W. Michael Gamble (Ret.) and Honorable Larry B. Kirksey (Ret.) from The McCammon Group discuss the ethical Rules\, principles\, and practices involved as lawyers negotiate in mediation as well as in the other areas of their practices. Drawing from the Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct and the ABA Model Rules\, the topics addressed will include: competence\, honesty\, the role of the client in making decisions\, communicating with the client\, communicating with those affiliated with opposing parties\, and threats of criminal sanctions to gain leverage.  Hypotheticals will be used to illustrate. This program will be presented virtually.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe McCammon Group will be providing the registration for this program.
