DESCRIPTION:Join the Roanoke Bar Association’s Habitat for Humanity Restore Service Day – November 2\, 2024. \nRegister below for the RBA’s Habitat for Humanity Restore Service Project on Saturday\, November 2\, 2024\, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Habitat Restore is located at 3435 Melrose Ave NW\, Roanoke\, VA 24017 \nThe Habitat ReStore is open to everyone. The ReStore is a non-profit store and donation center selling used and some new items to fix\, repair\, maintain or decorate your home. ReStores accept donations and sells a constantly changing inventory of diverse\, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price\, while diverting reusable household items and building materials from area landfills. Sales of donated items help Habitat-Roanoke with local families to build and rehabilitate affordable homes in the Roanoke Valley.  \nSign up for the workday is limited to 10 volunteers.  We are planning a construction/build work date in the spring. \nThis event has been postponed until Spring 2025. \nPlease contact Mollie Elder with questions or work openings – mollie.elder@woodsrogers.com
