Law Day Celebration, May 1, 2025
The annual Law Day Celebration was held at The Shenandoah Club on May 1, 2025, and was called to order by President Amy H. Geddes. Following the announcements and introduction of guests, President Geddes turned the floor over to Daniel Frankl who provided an update on changes within the VSB affecting specialty conferences. Amy Geddes then invited Sen. Suetterlein to the podium to read Senate Resolution 329 Commending the Roanoke Bar Association’s 100 years. Jay O’Keeffe, Legislative Chairman, followed and introduced our legislators who presented an update on the most recent session of the General Assembly along with local updates. Special thanks to Sen. David Suetterlein, Sen. Chris Head, Del. Sam Rasoul and moderator, Greg Habeeb. Thank you to the members of the RVPA who insured a smooth registration process.
