RBA Bench Bar Conference February 23, 2018
The annual Bench Bar Conference was held on February 23rd at the Higher Education Center. Andrew Gerrish, Chairman of the Young Lawyers Committee, organized the event. Lauren Davis, of Frith & Ellerman Law Firm, PC, presented a one hour CLE on the topic of “Build a Better Practice by Knowing Yourself Better”. The panelist assisting Ms. Davis were Abrina Schnurman-Crook, Ph.D, Executive Director of the Batten Leadership Institute at Hollins University, and Michael Chiglinsky, Ph.D., founding member of ACA Counseling and practicing mental health professional for over 30 years. The State of the Judiciary addresses were presented by judges from the various courts, followed by an open forum discussion. Thank you to Monica Guilliams, Melinda Childress-Dearing, and Cindy Krcmaric from the RVLSA for assisting with this event.
