RBA February 2017 Luncheon
The meeting was called to order by President Hugh Wellons. Joseph Mott, Chairman of the Roanoke Law Foundation, reminded the membership of the scholarship deadline and gave an update on the You and the Law program planned for March 28th. Mr. Wellons introduced our first two speakers, Brenda Hamilton, Clerk of Circuit Court, and Becky Collier, Civil Supervisor, who made a presentation on Roanoke City’s e-file system. President-Elect Kevin Holt introduced the final guest speaker Chris Morrill, Roanoke City Manager. Mr. Morrill spoke on the “Eleven Signs a City Will Succeed”. RVSLA members Monica Guilliams and Jennifer Carnes insured a smooth check-in.
