RBA Luncheon, March 11, 2025
The March 11, 2025, RBA luncheon meeting was held at the Shenandoah Club. The meeting was called to order by President Amy Geddes. Following the welcome and announcements, Ms. Geddes turned the floor over to the Honorable Charles Dorsey who introduced Mayor Joe Cobb. Mayor Cobb read a proclamation from the City of Roanoke which shared that the Roanoke City Council had voted to rename the plaza at the entrance to the Oliver W. Hill Justice Center the Onzlee Ware Plaza, “in honor and memory” of the late judge and state delegate. Following the proclamation, the Honorable Charles Dorsey read the memorial resolution prepared by the RBA in recognition of the Honorable Onzlee Ware.
The meeting was turned over to Jonathan Puvak to introduced the guest speaker, Joe Thompson, President of Property Catalyst Group. Thank you to the RVPA for assisting with check-in.
